VINA Community Dental Center Clinic Closed for Two Weeks
VINA Community Dental Center is closing for two weeks starting March 17 th , 2020 following recommendations from the Michigan Dental Association. On the evening of March 16th, the MDA released a statement strongly recommending Michigan dentists to close their offices beginning March 17 for at least two weeks to patients seeking preventive and elective care, and limit treatment to necessary treatment and patients requiring emergency care. There will still be staff to answer any questions and assist patients reschedule appointments via phone. VINA, which stands for Vision, Integrity, Need, Action, serves as a “dental home” to over 2,000 people in our community. They provide low cost dental services for limited income patients residing in Livingston County. The clinic is supported through fundraising events, contributions from the community and limited local grants.
